The CCEC training program provides internship, practicum, pre- and post-doc placements and MFT internships.
This is a 9 month to 1 year commitment with an excellent training
routine:
2 hours case conference,
1-2 hours individual supervision and
1 hour of group supervision.
Trainees see a variety of clients both ethnically and by therapy type (individual, couples, families, and children). This Program is renowned for its commitment to training and exceptional supervision opportunities. Practicum students put in 16 hours; interns and pre-and post-docs, 20-24 hours and MFTs at least 14 hours.
Applicants should send a letter describing your interest, a resume, and three letters of recommendation to the Clinic Director, Steve Fanucchi MFT in January. Selected applicants will be interviewed in late February and March. We generally select about 12 trainees who can start between June and September. The training “year” is 9 to 12 months. Depending on training needs, MFT interns can remain with the program for a longer length of time.
The CCEC Training Program has been highly rated among students and schools for many years and we urge you to apply.
