The objectives are to increase program participants’ knowledge about alcohol, tobacco and other drugs and to increase prevention group participants’ positive, resiliency-focused assets as a result of group participation.

Strategies for this interactive mode of presenting alcohol and other drug information and resiliency building skills will include:

• Planning and facilitation of school-based after school programming including presentations, lessons, activities, consultations and discussion groups for youth.
• Parenting and family management classes as requested.
• One-on-one consultations with family members, school staff and other significant persons; conflict resolution interventions and programs.
• Drug abuse prevention training sessions.
• Teen conferences and peer leader/helper programs.
